Activity 1:

Sound of the week: u

What does Geraldine Giraffe find?

What can you find beginning with u? Can you write u in your book?


Activity 2:

Ladybird printing.

Cut an apple in half. Paint red and stamp onto paper. Then you can add ladybird spots and a head.



Activity 1:

Listen to the story The bad tempered ladybird

Can you remember all the creatures the ladybird met? Ask your family to write the list in your book. Draw a picture of your favourite. Some of you can write a sentence with support. He met a…


Activity 2:

Writing patterns. Can you use a washing up bottle filled with water and make lots of circle shapes on the ground. Make big ones and small ones. Watch them disappear in the sunshine then start all over again. you might even be able to make a ladybird!



Activity 1: 

Ladybird maths.  Can you double the spots on the ladybirds. Use counters or play dough balls to help you. Whatever is on one side you do the same on the other side.
