What can you find beginning with r? Can you write r?


Activity 2: 

Arghh spider

Questions: Are you afraid of spiders?

Do spiders hurt us?

If you were a spider where would you like to live?

How could you show you are a kind spider?



Activity 1:

Can you find out about spiders from Andy?

Go on a spider hunt in your house and garden. How many did you find? What did they look like? Were they all the same or did you find different ones?


Activity 2: 

Can you describe the spiders? Use as many describing words as you  can.

Activity 2: 

How many ways can you group the 8 spider legs? Put the spiders legs on the spider in different ways e.g.

1 and 7    2 and 6 etc



Activity 1:

Can you add the correct number of pegs to the correct numbered spider? Practise your one-to-one counting to check it is correct. Some of you can add two spiders legs together to see how many altogether.

Take 5 objects and see how many different ways you can split them into two parts for example 4 and 1 part makes 5 whole number. Try it with different numbers too.
