Wednesday 3rd February 2021

Good morning Ganymede, welcome to 'Wellness Wednesday',

I know that many of you have been keeping up with the online learning and I just want to say a huge well done to you all. I know it has been tough going but just know that you are doing great.

I am introducing a new thing this week for Wednesday. It is 'Wellness Wednesday', this means that this afternoon I would like you to switch off your device and do some art and PSHE. Have a read through the slides for each and simply spend some time with your family and do somethings you enjoy.

So let's get started.

Before you start your learning today make sure you sign the remote learning register by clicking here.

Below is your timetable for the day. I hope you are learning your spellings ready for a test on Thursday.

Morning challenge

Let's start the day with some brain exercises - How many challenges can you complete today?

You can join our good friend Joe again or you can do 10 jumping jacks, 10 star jumps and then run on the spot for 30 seconds. That should get your blood flowing to your brain ready for your learning.

Follow the link for Joe here:

Continue with Chapter FIVE.

For today's task I would like you to use your powers of prediction.

In your Home Learning Journal can you write a paragraph on the following:

Predict whether they will be allowed to race, since they are just two children and sixty-six pugs.

This is a fun outdoor activity for today. I hope the weather holds out and the rain stays away long enough to get out and about searching for some natural materials.
