I know lots of you have been really struggling with Maths recently, starting from today we're going to change how we do Maths for as long as you're at home. Maths is one of my favourite subjects and I want you to love it too! Please don't worry about missing out on anything that's in your workbooks, we'll still learn all of the important things and challenge your brains but in a slightly different way
Task 1: 10 minutes on TTRockstars
Task 2: Today we are going to revise our 4 operations. Have a look at the questions below and answer them in your Home Learning Journal. Keep an eye out for any decimal points and show your calculations. I would expect to see column method and long division in your books.
Challenge: Write 3 word problems where solving an equation from above would solve the problem
Example: There were 356 pupils in a school. Each pupil needed 15 exercise books for the year, how many exercise books should the school order?
