ENGLISH - New section with 'English and LO written please.
LO: I am learning to innovate sentences from the text.
To start this lesson, you are going to compete your imitation of the 1st paragraph of the text. Don't forget I'd love to see some videos of these, so if you can send me any, please do email them to the class address. By now, you should jut be able to use your story map to help you, rather than the text itself.
Then, you will begin to imitate some of the sentences from the text. Below is a table with the original sentences on the left. On the right, you are to innovate the sentences so that you make them your own. You can see that I have started the first two with my own ideas. You can change these two to make them your own. Don't forget things such as figurative language, homophones and the power of 3.
HANDWRITING - New section with the title of 'handwriting' please.
QUIZZES - New section with title of 'quizzes' please.
Today is quiz day. Remember, we do this at the end of every topic. As we have come to the end of our Science topic, we need to do the Science quiz. Usually at this time, we will be completing all the other quizzes from the year, as this is where we can see if you have retained the knowledge from the topics we have done so far this year. However, I realise this is challenging to do at home, so I have picked one other quiz only, for you to do. This has been taken a previous topic this year and is your chance to show me how much you have remembered.
Below are the links which will take you straight to the quizzes. If you can do them online, then that would be great. If not, then I have screen shotted them all for you so you can either print them, or do them in your home learning journal. I have started with the most recent and the worked my way backwards.
