PE
This Morning my girls created this workout for me. I had to do each exercise for 30 seconds and repeat it twice. The girls say that I am like Mrs Trunchbull when I am at home teaching them, hence calling me Trunchbull Wickes. Have a go! Or if you like tune into https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGYXh_G8X6A

English
Tomorrow and Friday we will start writing a story about this picture. Yesterday you looked at pronouns. Today I would like you to write some expanded noun phrases that you could use in your story. If you need a refresher, have a look at this. We have used it before in class https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zwwp8mn/articles/z3nfw6f
Remember - an expanded noun phrase just takes the noun (e.g. dog) and adds adjectives to describe it (mammoth, hairy), so you get The mammoth, hairy dog. Then you can add a verb to make it a sentence... such as The mammoth, hairy dog slobbered at the sight of the food bowl.
Here are some adjectives and phrases that you can use to get you started:
fur, hair, whiskers, beard, locks, wooly, furry, soft, silky, long, thick, untidy, wild, huge, massive, enormous, bright, vivid, gleaming, goggling, thick, agile, stiff, wagging
Look closely at the pictures from the start of the book 'Window' by Jeannie Baker. Write a list of what you can see.
Is anything the same in the pictures? What is different? Write 3 similarities and 3 differences.
What do we know about our characters from the second picture? (hint - look on the windowsill). What do you think the next page might have on it? Why do you think this?
Art
Inspired by our reading book, today can you have a go at drawing the view from your window.
This is Mrs Inman's attempt at drawing the view from her lounge window. Send us your pictures via our class email address ganymede@studleygreen.wilts.sch.uk
