Good morning Metis class and happy Wednesday - half way through the week we can do it!

I would like you to watch two youtube videos that I have made for you. The first one will be the same everyday as it is a recap of all the sounds we have learnt - please say the sounds along with the video as you normally would at school.

Sound cards

For remote learning -Say the sounds with me like we do every morning in class.

The second video is introducing another way to spell our brand new sound, so pay attention and watch the video as many times as you need to. You will need to pause the video when I tell you to in order to write the words.

Yesterday we read a story all about Bob and his adventures on the moon. I have been lucky enough to visit Bob’s house and inside his house I found his diary!! I took a picture of his diary entry and I thought we could learn it off by heart to help us write our own diary.

Today I am going to show you the first part of his diary entry:

Then I would like you to become an actor and pretend to be Bob. Act out being excited - what does this look like?

Can you pretend to eat your breakfast?

Can you act out going to the shop and buying a newspaper and some sticky toffees.

Challenge: What words describe the toffees? Can you think of two other words to describe the toffees?
