Good morning Pandora!

Who noticed Mrs Cottles mistake yesterday?  I am very sorry I forgot to put the maths pictures on.  I will try harder today.  I also want to say how proud I am of you and all the wonderful things you are doing with your families and the learning you are also doing.  Keep up the hard work and remember to send me some lovely pictures or emails to the class email address:-  pandora@studleygreen.wilts.sch.uk

Maths task:

If your child is having difficulty counting amounts I would suggest that you continue to practice recognising and ordering coins.  Then give them just two or three coins to count.  This is still working a Year two level.

Work through the Maths slides below and complete page 27 and 28 in your workbook.

Make sure you use all the signs you know + - x ፥

English writing task:

It was a wet, miserable day... can you look out of a window from your home and describe what you could see if it was raining.  Don’t forget to use adjectives to make extended noun phrase.

Eg. It was a wet, miserable and Mrs Cottle looked out of her quiet lounge window.  The bright, red car looked blurry on the road because the driving rain was so fast.
