Tuesday 30th March

Good morning. There is something new in the basket today. Can you guess what it is?

Good morning all,

The Makaton sign that features in the video today is spider but don't tell anybody or you might give a surprise away.

Look at your phonics cards. Say the sounds you can see.

Hide your letters around the house. How many you can find? Can you say them as you find them? Maybe you can  write down what you have found?

Can some of you make the words pat, sat and mat?

Can you find the shape list in your pack?

Can you name the shapes?

Can you find any of those shapes in your house?

Take a picture of the shapes you find and stick them in your book or email them to me.

Logon to Oxford Owl and find storytelling videos.

Choose the story Chicken Licked and follow the guidance attached on the website.

Concentrate on talking in full sentences. “ I can see…”

Communication and language

Talk about what you can see in the picture. Encourage the use of words such as he/ she and action words ending in ing. When you have talked about the picture you can then read the sentence. Some of you will be able to read the sentence. Some of you will just be spying sounds that we have learnt.

Let's get creative!

Can you make some food for you and your family to eat? Maybe you can make a sandwich for lunch or bake a cake with your family. Get in touch and let us know what scrummy things you created.
