Tuesday 28th April 2020

Good Morning!

I hope you are all well! Thank you for your emails, I'm still waiting to hear what you all thought of Malamander - email me with your impressions.

PE

It's been a while since I've asked you to do a Joe Wicks video and i'll be doing it with the children in school today, go over to his YouTube page and try today's live workout - if you're doing this later than 9am you can still watch the recording.

Maths

Spend 10 minutes on TTRockstars, don't forget your challenge for the week.

Read through the pages below and complete pages 145-146 in your workbook. Look really carefully at today's Let's Learn, it will show you how to use bar models to solve problems like the one in the In Focus task. Don't forget to draw your bar models when you come onto your own calculations, it is much harder without them!

English

Use the sheet below to help you write a limerick. It can be about any topic you like, but it must follow the rules smiley

If you're struggling have a look at this website for help https://www.twinkl.co.uk/resource/t2-e-1000-recognise-some-different-forms-of-poetry-limericks-lesson-teaching-pack

Reading

Read another chapter of the book you have chosen for your review - if you've chosen a non-fiction text for the review, then use a different fictional text for the task below.

Choose one character and imagine that you are interviewing them, write five questions you would like to ask them and what you imagine their answers would be.

Grammar

If you are able to access it, have a look at the lesson on the link below. It is all about nouns and pronouns.
