Good Morning Oberon
I hope you heard the news last night - we can all be back in school together from Monday the 8th of March, which is less than two weeks away. I am really excited about having everyone back in class and am looking forward to seeing you all in person.
We had an action packed day yesterday and it would be fantastic to see what you did so don't forget to pick up your phone and take a picture of some of your learning and send it to email@example.com.
There will be a live maths lesson from 9 am today and our English lesson will start at 11.15 am.
Here is today's timetable with another full day of activities so get you pack ready and get started.
Try these activities to get you thinking today:
Use the slides to work through lesson 2 of converting units of length - if you are finding any of the ideas difficult to understand then you can always send us questions or join the live lesson.
Revisit how syllables can help us to spell some of the words on our year 5 and 6 word list. If you feel really confident with today's words you could always use your list from your pack to try some other words you find challenging.
Over the next few days we will be recapping on some key elements of narrative writing using one of my favourite picture books. It would be wonderful to see the stories you wrote as part of yesterday's cold task so use some time today to finish that if you need too.
Creative Curriculum - Science
Have a look at our next lesson - today we will be learning about fossil and drawing on some of your learning form year 3.
