English
Just as the sun was sinking down beyond the horizon, a young boy walked along a narrow, dusty track.
The fierce heat of the day had receded, and a refreshingly cool breeze rippled the edges of the boy’s t-shirt as he stood there, staring.
In his dark, brown eyes you could make out the reflection of the figure walking towards him. Looking into those beautiful, forlorn eyes, your mind could almost begin to tell a story, for a person’s eyes are a way into their soul…
Can you make a list of emotions to describe how the boy might be feeling?
Can you start a sentence with one or two of those feelings?
E.g. Wary and cautious, the boy stood alone on the dusty, scorched track, awaiting the visitor.
