  • Ask a grown up to flash all the letter cards and get you to say the sounds as you see them.
  • Ask a grown up to flash all the high frequency word cards and get you to say the word you see.

  • Choose 5 High Frequency Words to turn into a colourful rainbow.  Write the word using a pencil first of all and then choose different colour pens to write the word on top each time again and again until you have made a rainbow word.
  • Repeat for 5 different words – you could choose ones that you find difficult to read or write.

Daily Challenge

  • Fill a plastic pot / tub with water outside.  Take a paintbrush and see if you can write your name on the ground / wall with the water.
  • What other words / patterns can you write? What else can you find to paint with water in the outside area?
  • Send us some photos of your water painting!
