Today's Activity
English - Discussion writing
A discussion text is a balanced argument that offers two different points of view.
Read through and complete the activities on this page https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zhmdjhv This will remind you of the features and purpose of a discussion text. You do not need to do activity 3.
Once you have been through the link, choose one of the statements below and write bullet points of your arguments agreeing and disagreeing with the statement:
Example - I have the same number of bullet points for each argument, so that it is balanced. I have also tried to link the arguments together so that I can build effective counter arguments.

PHSE
Last week we started learning all about sleep and it's importance for the human body. This week I want you to think about things that prevent us getting a good night's sleep and how we can change that. Complete the grid below in your journals, add in any extra ideas of your own - think carefully about what makes it difficult for you to sleep and add it and your suggested solution to the grid.
