Art
Picasso was a famous Spanish artist who lived in the last century (1881-1973). His work can be seen in museums and galleries all over the world. He is considered one of the greatest artists that ever lived, mostly because he made us see the world in a different way. He didn’t want his pictures to look like photographs he wanted to show us other things about what we see; like what something is made of, what we feel about something and how we experience them with all our senses.

Activity: Roll a Picasso!
Use the guide in the picture below to create your own portrait! Use a dice if you have one, if not get an adult to pick a number from 1-6. On each roll you have a certain aspect of the face to draw. When you have rolled 7 times, add in some wacky hair and then colour in your portrait in bright bold colours, just like Picasso!
