Remember to use this handy tool to help you with time vocabulary:

Here is a link to an interactive clock; an analogue and digital clock:

https://www.topmarks.co.uk/time/teaching-clock

Today's lesson:

Telling 'minutes past' on a digital clock

In this lesson you will learn to tell the time on a digital clock. Click on the link below and follow the lesson: https://classroom.thenational.academy/lessons/telling-minutes-past-on-a-digital-clock-cguk2c

Challenge:

Write the digital times underneath the analogue clocks: (remember to write am or pm)

Spelling

Suffixes are letters that can be added to the end of words to change their meaning.

  • Adding the suffix -ation, turns a verb into a noun. For example, 'inform' becomes 'information'.
  • If the word ends with 'ne', 've' or 're', drop the 'e' then add -ation. 'Prepare' becomes 'preparation'.

Work your way down the list of words taking two each day, writing each word three times and then writing a sentence for each word. Ask someone in your house to help test you.
