Expectation

Welcome To

Our school is a unique, happy and special place. Within the heart of the community, it is where children feel safe, loved and supported as they grow and develop into confident and successful individuals. We believe that an outstanding education is the single most important factor in ensuring success in life and we are relentless in the pursuit of this. We expect the highest level of engagement from all who share in our vision of 'beyond expectation'.

Maths

Start with TT Rock Stars to practice your tables. We would be expecting you to do two or three garage games (the tables that we have set you), then a battle or tournament game. We have extended the battle with Callisto until the end of the week - let's all help WIN!

Then into our money unit. Here is today's learning.

Once you have worked through this, complete worksheet 4 - Page 7 and 8 in your workbook. smiley

English

Today and tomorrow we will write the story based on the picture that we have been using this week.

Here is a starter that you could use if you wish

Story starter!

Brian had often bought things from the market that had turned out to be the most outrageous, disappointing fakes.

He had presumed that the magic biscuits would have been exactly the same. How wrong he had been...

Today, we would like you to plan your story. Use this frame to help you :

Reading

What did you notice in the pictures yesterday? What do you know about the characters?

Today we will look at the next two pages.

Look closely at the pictures and list all the things you can see.

Then, can you predict, based on what you know, what you think will happen in the story and what you think the theme of the story is.

Geography

To link with our topic 'Window', over the next few weeks we will be thinking about the geography of our local area. Today can you look through these slides and then complete the activities (you might want to do some of the activities on your daily walk)
