Good Morning Oberon

Complete the ten minute activity on this link

Task 1: 10 minutes on TTRockstars - I am amazed by how much better you're all getting with your times tables, keep it up!

Task 2: Complete one page in your arithmetic booklet.

Task 3: How many solutions can you find to the countdown game below? Remember you can only use each number once. I have put some challenges underneath for after you have found your first possible solution.

Challenge 1: Express your solution using a BIDMAS number sentence

Challenge 2: Use as few operations as possible in your solution - Can it be done with just one operation? Or two?

Challenge 3: Is it possible to use all 4 operations in one solution?

Complete the three tasks based on the image below, the image is titled: 'The Stadium'

This week we're working through this Bitesize lesson based on Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief. If you are able to, click the link below and watch Stephen Fry reading the extracts we'll be studying out loud.

Today you will need to re-read the two extracts from earlier this week, before completing Activity 3. The extracts are below the activity.

Look at the link above to learn more about how we can look after the environment by recycling and reducing the amount of plastic we use. Complete Activity 1 on the page (the quiz) and then complete the task below. If you want to do the other activities on the website that's fantastic, but you don't have to.

After you have read the article and watched the videos, in your journal I would like you to consider how we can do more at school and how you can do more at home to help the environment. You might want to write a list or share your ideas by creating a poster.

You can still do the activity even if you don't have internet access to follow the link.
