We have another fun packed day of learning to get going with, starting with your PE video to get us up and moving for the start of the day. As ever, complete it all in your home learning journals, making sure you put today's date at the start of all your work and sectioning off at the start of each subject. Remember your perfect presentation. Don't forget to take regular breaks throughout the day to break up your learning. Keep smiling and keep safe.

How are we all getting on? Have you gained confidence with multiplying 4 digits by 1 digit?
Today you are going to have a go at the quiz on Deepening understanding. This will let me see how you are doing and if we need to revisit any concepts or whether we can move on.

ENGLISH - New section with a heading of English and LO written please.
LO: I am learning to innovate part of a given story. - The problem.
Today you will be innovating (changing) the part of the story that is the problem. In 'The game' the problem is that a giant spider leaps into the classroom from nowhere. The structure of this is....
1. Introduction of the strange events happening using a sentence of 3.
2. The introduction of the new threat (problem). This includes describing where is came from and what it looks like.
I have given you a sheet with each part of the original story on it. This is for you to follow the structure of the story (Imitate), before you change it (innovate).
I have also given you an example of my innovation. In this you can see I have stuck very closely to the main story, but changed key events through use of description. I've used a wizard appearing, you could use anything.
REMEMBER YOUR PERFECT PRESENTATION.

Today we are thinking about the Earth's (and other planets) orbit around the Sun. But did you know that astronomers did not always believe that the Earth orbited the sun. Many thought that the sun orbited the Earth!
