Thursday 11th February 2021

Good morning Ganymede,

Let's get started. You can do this.

Before you start your learning today make sure you sign the remote learning register by clicking here.

Below is your timetable for the day.

I hope you have been enjoying the two battles that have been set this week. We need some help from the boys to boost our scores against Titan. Ganymede are definitely on fire and smashing the battle with me.

Let's get started with today's learning.

Morning challenge

Let's start the day with some brain exercises - How many challenges can you complete today?

Write a new title in your Home Learning Journal to separate your learning tasks.

New section with the title of '|Geography' and WALT written. If you have space under where you started your essay on Tuesday, you can continue on from there, just put today's date in the margin.

WALT: order my knowledge of frozen lands, in paragraphs.

Today, you will be writing the final 3 paragraphs of your essay. The two sections that still need writing are

1. Paragraph 3

2. Paragraph 4

3. Conclusion

Don't forget to develop your answers to the questions in your planning, into continuous sentences so that they form full and proper sentences.

Don't forget, diagrams are also a great way to help you explain and can absolutely be used to show your understanding as long as they are labelled. This might be especially useful for describing where places are using the compass.

Remember to lay this out properly with subheadings, and use your perfect presentation.

Summarise in your Home Learning Journal

Pick one adjective to describe each of Sir Basil, Helga, Mitzi and Professor Shackleton.

We will have a our spelling test on Friday during our zoom lesson as I think many of you are finding it hard to do it with the online form and listening to me say the words.

Keep practicing!
