At Studley Green Primary School we recognise the lifelong impact of sport, as well as a healthy diet, to the future well-being of children. This is supported by government and independent research which conclude that an innovative and varied PE curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities have a positive influence on the concentration, attitude and academic achievement of pupils.
The £320 million PE and Sport Premium continues in the 2020 to 2021 academic year. It provides the school with ring fenced money to spend on improving the quality of PE and sports provision. Each school is allocated £16,000 plus and extra £10 per child. In 2019 to 2020 we received £17,700.
If you are interested to see how this money has been used and the impact it has had please read the documents below. The report for this year is a working document and will be updated frequently throughout the year.
