Class long-term sequences

Our long-term sequences outline the topics taught in each class throughout the year. The way we sequence lessons is carefully informed by educational research, with a focus on reducing cognitive overload, revisiting key concepts, and using spaced retrieval to help pupils retain and apply their learning over time. We intentionally build in opportunities for pupils to make meaningful connections across subjects and revisit content in different contexts. This approach supports the development of strong, coherent understanding so that knowledge is not only learned, but deeply understood and remembered.
