Monday 4th May 2020

Good morning Metis class and Happy Monday! I want to tell you how proud I am of each and every one of you for logging on every day and doing this work. It’s really important that you listen to your grown ups at home when they ask you to do your work, just like I or Mrs Barrett would do at school. Keep doing your best! 

Oh- and Happy Star Wars Day!! May the 4th be with you. 

Maths task: 

Work through the Maths slides below and complete pages 114-118 in your workbook. 

Maths Challenge!

Can you write all the single digit numbers that put together make 10.  These are called number bonds and the subtraction facts that go with it.  eg 1+9=10      9+1=10     10-1=9     10-9=10

Go onto Numbots for 15mins.  How many coins did you get?


English writing task:

Today I would like you to retell your favourite short story.  Go to your bookshelf and choose a short story to read then can you retell and rewrite that story.  It is all about how neat your writing is today. Can a grown up read it? Is it spelt correctly? Have you put in finger spaces / capital letters and full stops?  If you have forgotten please edit your learning.
