Art
Analytical Drawing from Observation: Sweets and candy bars.
Analytical drawing - means to explore and look at something in detail and then to record what you see.
Analytical drawing from observation is looking really carefully at something in front of you and drawing what you see. It is different to drawing from a picture or from your imagination because you have to describe what you see. Looking carefully is really important.
For this project you will need:
If you want to watch someone doing an amazing drawing from observation of a sweet packet click here.
First carefully draw out the shape of the sweet
Then add some of the details and shading.
Look carefully at the style of the lettering on the wrapper.
Sweets are very colourful so add lots of colour.
We'd love to see your art, send a picture to ganymede@studleygreen.wilts.sch.uk and we will put it on the website!
