Fluent in Five - Keep practicing your calculation skills by trying the following calculations

 

What is the four digit number being shown?                 
Add 7,546.
Subtract 3, 746.
Multiply by 7.
Divide by 3.

 

This week we will be continuing with our learning on decimal numbers.  In our last lesson we we learning how to compare decimal numbers and we will be doing some more activities on this over the next two sessions.  Our friends show us different strategies for comparing the different lengths of rope - which method do you prefer? Does it help you answer the Guided Practice questions?

 

When you are ready have a go at worksheet 5 on pages 9 and 10 of your workbook - the answers are at the bottom of the page.
