We are looking at a new spelling pattern this week. I have given you two spellings as a recap of a spelling pattern that you have already done -'ation'. You should find these ones easy. Then we move onto looking at words with the different spelling pattern of 'ey'. So 'ey', 'eigh' and 'ei'. Today is your look, cover, write and check day. I have attached the PDF at the bottom should you wish to print out the sheet yourself in order to complete it.

We are starting to learn a new skill in Math's this week. We will be looking  at graphs and tables. These are simply ways of organising information in an easy and accessible way so that we can get information quickly.

Before you start, you need to either play 10 minutes on times tables rockstars, or complete test 1 in your booklets. (You may not have had these delivered yet)

After that, it will be time for your fluent in 5, so set a timer for 5 minutes and have a go at the questions below.

Fluent in 5

Time to move on.....Today, we will be reading tables. This refers to timetables which allow us to see times of things such as planes, buses, movies and trains. They are a very useful tool in life as they allow us to see when different things are happening and where, This means we can organise ourselves!

Go through the slides below, completing the challenges. At the end, will be your task for today.

Never heard the word grid

We are starting a new topic today in English. Work your way through the slides below, and then create your character cards. We would love to see these. Remember, you can share learning by emailing us photos' (or documents) at

At school, at the end of each topic, we complete a quiz. We also do previous topics quizzes too, to see how well we have remembered our earlier learning. This afternoon, I would like you to go back through ALL the quizzes that we have done since September (the start of Y5), you may want to get your Knowledge Organisers out to help you - or look here - all the KO's are there if you scroll down.
