Good morning Metis class. We have only 7 days to go until we are all back learning in the classroom together, how exciting!
Don't forget to sign in the register and to send me pictures of your fantastic work for the celebration video on Friday - it will be our last one.
As with every Soundswrite lesson please begin by saying the sounds you see in the video- you are all going to be superstars at this when you come back.
On Friday we 'boxed up' our instructions by drawing pictures to help us remember them. Today I would like you to retell the instructions using your pictures to help you. Take a look at Miss Broadhead retelling the instructions using the pictures to help her below:
Once you have retold your instructions over a few times and really know them off by heart have a go at this activity.
Can you sort the instructions into the right order? The title, equipment and instructions have got muddled up.
(You can either do this verbally and tell a grown up where each part goes or you could cut up the pictures and put them in the correct order).
In your packs you will find a sheet with lots of spellings on. Please can you read as many spellings out loud as you can.
Today I would like you to practice these spellings:

For the activity - grown ups if you describe a coin to your child and let them guess what it is.
for example: 'It is silver and has the number 10 on it' = 10p
'It is silver, it doesn't have round edges, it has the number 50 on it' = 50p
Have a go at playing this game, choose 'one coin' or for a challenge choose 'mixed coin'.

Take a look below at today's PE lesson which is all about jumping and travelling.
Work through the slides below and answer the questions verbally. (Grown ups- if you have the objects at home such as a spoon, teddy, brick ect please let your child feel the object so they can put the word to the feeling).
