Soundswrite:
As with every Soundswrite lesson please begin by saying the sounds you see in the video- you are all going to be superstars at this when you come back.

On Friday we 'boxed up' our instructions by drawing pictures to help us remember them. Today I would like you to retell the instructions using your pictures to help you. Take a look at Miss Broadhead retelling the instructions using the pictures to help her below:
Once you have retold your instructions over a few times and really know them off by heart have a go at this activity.
Can you sort the instructions into the right order? The title, equipment and instructions have got muddled up.
(You can either do this verbally and tell a grown up where each part goes or you could cut up the pictures and put them in the correct order).
Spellings:
In your packs you will find a sheet with lots of spellings on. Please can you read as many spellings out loud as you can.

Follow the link below to our handwriting scheme - This week we will be look at our lower case cursive letters. By now we should all be forming our lowercase letters correctly and should be able to write the whole alphabet from a-z. Have a go at writing the lowercase alphabet in your books.

Go onto numbots for 15 minutes.
Practice counting in 1’s to 100.
Practice counting in 10’s to 100.

Read through the following slides and complete the tasks:
(Grown ups your child might need support reading the writing but during guided practice they should complete this as independently as possible.)
For the activity - grown ups if you describe a coin to your child and let them guess what it is.
for example: 'It is silver and has the number 10 on it' = 10p
'It is silver, it doesn't have round edges, it has the number 50 on it' = 50p
