English
This week we are going to create and write our own dragon factfiles using the information we learnt in science and the dragon we created on Wednesday in Topic. Fact files are sentences about something which gives you information.
e.g
Today we are going to write some statement sentences about our dragon.
In science we learnt about different animals What did you decide a dragon would be? Write this as a statement sentence. Did you decide reptile? amphian? bird?
In science we learnt about Herbivores, Carnivores and Omnivores. Decide which your dragon is going to be and tell me what it eats in your second sentence and why.
e.g. Mrs Cottle try
The Ruby Red Fire Dragon is a small reptile with scaly skin and powerful wings. It is a omnivore and likes to eat ants, beetles and woodlice which it heats using its fiery breathe. The Ruby Red Fire Dragon loves worms because they have a crunchy inside.
The underlined bits are changeable to anything you want the funnier or stranger the better.
Remember you can make it be what every you want from huge to tiny, from herbivore to carnivore eating and drinking what ever you decide.
