Spellings:

In your packs you will find a sheet with lots of spellings on. Please can you read as many spellings out loud as you can. Choose a line of spellings (5 spellings) and write them in your books.

After watching the story read the shortened version below. Reread it a few times with a grown up so you have internalised it. Can you retell it in a quiet voice? Can you retell it in a loud voice? Can you retell the story to a sibling? Or to a grown up? Can you facetime a friend and retell it to them?

Go onto numbots for 15 minutes.

Practice counting in 1’s to 100.

Practice counting in 10’s to 100.

Practice counting in 2’s to 30.

Write your numbers 1 to 20 in your home learning books.

PE:

Warm up: Play the Mr Men game with an adult or a sibling at home.

 

Adult/leader calls out different Mr Men characters and children act out the below actions.

Mr. Tall = Stand as tall as you can

Mr. Small = Make yourself as small as possible

Mr. Happy = Show your happy face

Mr. Muscle = Show your arm muscles

Mr. Slow = Move slowly

Mr. Busy = Run in different directions

Mr. Rush = Run around

Mr. Hop = Hop on different legs

Mr. Jump = Jump around

Topic:

Work through the slides like we would do at school. (For Grown ups- Everybody reads is the page where your child should read as much of it as they can, Discussion - have a go at answering the question and discuss different answers, Task- The activity that I would like to be completed by the children)

Task: I would like you to build a town - you can use lego, blocks, toys, train track/cars, paper, whatever you have at home!! Then once you have built your town, pretend to be satellites in space and look at your town by standing above it.
