We miss you all!

The staff team at Studley Green Primary School miss you all so much. We hope you are all safe and we can't wait to see you all soon.

Monday 17th May

A woodland creature themed week with a song about walking through the forest.

Ready for another week of Home Learning... Let's go! We are to find out about all wild animals that live near us this week.

The Makaton sign today is 'forest'

This week we are going to re-cap on d,f,v,e. Can you sort objects beginning with these letters like I did in the video?

Use your number cards to ten and make groups of objects Practice your one-to-one counting touching each object as you count

Look at the Woodland Trust website with your family. Which animals live in the same country as you, Great Britain?

Pick your favourite and draw a picture of it. You could even have a go at writing it's name.

Communication and language

Talk about what you can see in the picture. Encourage the use of words such as he/ she and action words ending in ing. When you have talked about the picture you can then read the sentence. Some of the pictures I have used might inspire your children to want to ask questions and find out more.

Life skills:

Make sure you eat healthy food every day. Can you collect food from your house and sort it into healthy and unhealthy food.
