It's egg- citing! Be part of our learning!

As part of our Topic 'Why did the chicken cross the road?' we will have the exciting opportunity to see chicken eggs hatch in the classroom.  Over the two weeks (Monday 29th February to the Friday 11th March) that they are with us we will watch them hatch, feed, water and clean them, look after their environment and observe the changes.

We have got our eggs and equipment from a company called living eggs.  If you would like to find out more or see all the changes yourself please come in and  see, ask me or you can find all the information on

We will also be looking at unfertilized eggs and how we use them as a source of protein and to cook with.  Watch this space for lots of cute pictures!
