Within the heart of the community, it is where children feel safe, loved and supported as they grow and develop into confident and successful individuals. We expect the highest level of engagement from all who share in our vision of 'beyond expectation'.

Ganymede - Year 3

We are Ganymede!

When you enter our Year 3 classroom you will be met by 25 eager learners who are supported in their learning journey by a number of enthusiastic adults. Miss Evans is the class teacher and Mrs Baker and Mrs Taylor are our amazing and very nurturing Learning Support Assistants.

If you would like to share anything please send an email to

If you have any concerns or questions please speak to me at the beginning or end of the day.

Every Wednesday and Thursday we wear our PE kit into school ready to get physical.

Each term we have a main guiding topic which steers our learning. To support this learning, Ganymede will be given a series of learning tasks, linked to our current learning, to complete over the week for homework. Alongside this, children have been given a Times Table Rockstars login to enhance their maths times tables knowledge. Our expectation continues to be that children read four times each week outside of school.

Welcome to Year 3

Star of the Week

Student Council

Ganymede ran their first student council elections for this academic year and I was very proud of all 14 candidates that put their names forward and prepared their speeches. All candidates displayed our school values and spoke clearly and confidently. Mrs Baker, Mrs Taylor and Miss Evans are immensely proud of all the candidates but would like to congratulate Ellae and Finlay on becoming Ganymede's first representatives.

Today we went to the cinema to see Onward.  Ganymede class thoroughly enjyed the movie and were a credit to Studley Green Primary School.
