In your Home learning books please answer the following :-

  1. What is a tourist?
    • Parents please talk about  what this word means...

  3. Write down one fact that Bob tells the tourists.

We are going to make our own moon picture.

  •    Have  a look at this picture of the moon.
  •     What do you notice?
  •     What does it look like? ( smooth?  bumpy? flat?)

We are going to try to recreate the surface of the moon using a handful of porridge oats mixed into white paint.

  1. In school we will do this on black card.
  2. At home why not simply use the inside of a piece of cardboard ( old cereal packet is fine)
  •  Draw around a large circle  e.g. saucepan lid and
  • Paint the textured paint ( paint and oats) either using a paintbrush or a spoon or fingers, until the circle  is covered.
  • Leave it somewhere flat to dry, ready for adding more to this next  week!

 Please send me pictures!yes
