English

You've been on safari ...

Write a diary entry about your day on a safari think about:

  • What did you see?
  • What did you hear? What could you not hear?
  • What could you smell?
  • What did you eat for lunch/tea? What did it taste like? Did you have to forage for food?
  • Did you touch anything? What did you touch? How did it feel?
  • Did anything exciting happen? Did anything scary happen?

Remember to use lots of interesting adjectives to help you to describe.

Reading

Read a fiction book from home or login in to Oxford Owl here. Click on 'My class login' and enter the username: studley password: studley

Choose one of the books that you have read, create a new front cover for this book and write a paragraph summing up the story. Remember to make this exciting because this will encourage others to want to read the book. Can you see if an adult can photograph this so we can upload it to the website for your friends to see.

History

Watch the video below and write about the day from the point of view of the camel.
