You've done it!  You got to the end of this term and the end of the second week of home learning.  I have manged to talk to a lot of you this week and I am so proud of you all.  You are 4 star learners laugh Let's get Fridays learning done. yes

 

Maths task:

Today we will not be working in our workbooks as I would like to start 3D shapes after the Easter break. To finish the week concentrating on 2 D shapes can you look around your house and name 3 things that are:

Square

Triangle

Oblong / rectangle

Circle

Pentagon

Hexagon

Can you tell a grown up how you know?

         
         
 

 

 

Is there a shape that you struggle to remember?  Can you draw it and stick it somewhere so you can practice this shape over the holiday.

 

English writing task:

Oh no! A giant has taken over Studley Green’s playground. Can you write a letter to the giant explaining why we need to look after our playground?

 

English reading tasks:

Can you find a book to read with a giant in it… like Jack and the beanstalk or the Smartest Giant in Town. Please could you share this book with a grown up/brother or sister?

Can you spot any of these invertebrates in your garden or park?

 

What is their habitat like? Can you describe it to you grown ups? Take photographs if you can on your grown up’s phone and tell a family member what they have found OR maybe you could send them to the Pandora email address and I can put them on the webpage.
