Friday 3rd April, 2020

Good Morning everybody!

Today is our final day of home learning before your Easter holidays. We will put some activity ideas on the website for any of you who want ideas of extra things to do during your break.

I hope you all have a lovely Easter, I'm really missing seeing you all everyday - stay safe!

Remember, any questions you have or any fantastic photos you'd like to share can be sent to:

Have a go at today's Joe Wicks PE lesson:

Click on the link and select today's video.

Start with 10 minutes on TTRockstars - remember to send me suggestions of who you'd like to battle next.

Complete one of your arithmetic papers (you can check your answers with a calculator when you have finished).

Complete the questions below in your Home Learning Journal. A place value grid is the best way of showing your calculations.

Choose your favourite image from the three pictures below. You can write whatever you would like to, inspired by the image smiley  It could be:

  • a diary entry
  • a story
  • a newspaper report
  • a comic strip
  • a character description

I've had lots of requests for another David Walliams lesson! Follow the link to listen to one of his stories and then draw a picture of how you imagine one of the characters to look.

If you cannot access the story, choose a character from another book to draw smiley

Today I would like you to create an adjective alphabet. Start by writing down each letter of the alphabet in your Home Learning Journal.  Now write an adjective for each letter of the alphabet. Remember adjectives are used to describe a noun.

Here are some examples of Easter themed artwork. Can you create your own Easter inspired piece of art? It could be an Easter card, a sketch of the Easter rabbit with his/her eggs, designing your own Easter egg or even something with a more religious theme such as a stained class window showing the Easter story.
