Friday 27th March

Finally managed to get it working this morning but it took 2 hours to upload! I think the internet is pretty busy at the moment! I hope everybody enjoys it and I will upload Monday's video on Sunday night ready for Monday morning.

Hi everyone,

I'm so sorry about not getting the video to you, it has not been as easy as I thought. I am still working on it and hopefully will have it soon. Keep an eye on your emails for when I have managed to sort it out. Well done for all your hard work this week. Remember to take a break as you would normally over the weekend and learning will resume again on Monday. Thank you to everyone who has sent me photos of what you are up to. Take care and have a lovely weekend.

Look at your phonics cards. Say the sounds you can see.

Look at the Espresso website below.

Watch the h video and have a go saying and writing the sound. Can you write other sounds that you know?

Can you make the word hit with your letter cards? You may even be able to write the word in your book.

Cut out the number cards in your number pack. Hide numbers 1-10 around your house/ garden. Can you find them all? Can you put them in order? Some of you may be able to write the numbers you found in order in your book. Some of you may be able to find two numbers and say how many altogether? Use objects to help you work it out.

Draw a picture of something you have been up to this week. Can you say a sentence to go with it? Some of you will be able to write the sentence with a bit of support.

Communication and language

Talk about what you can see in the picture. Encourage the use of words such as he/ she and action words ending in ing. When you have talked about the picture you can then read the sentence. Some of you will be able to read the sentence. Some of you will just be spying sounds that we have learnt.

Physical development

Fancy a bit of Yoga?
