Maths

Start with 10 minutes of TTRockstars.

Now look at Chapter 6, lesson 14, this is the chapter consolidation. Look below for the 3 activities to complete to finish this chapter. Don't forget to look back over the whole chapter on our web page and in your workbooks.

Spellings:

Practice each spelling 3 times and write each of them into a sentence.

 

English:

What do you see in the image?

Does it look like this piano would work?

There are music sheet on top of the piano, what could the music be?

Is it just one piece of music or more?

 

Activity 2:

Can you write an argument, showing both sides:

"Is music an important part of our curriculum?"

Think about:

- Why do people enjoy playing instruments?

- Does it cost money?

- Can music be therapeutic?

- If you learn an instrument, what can you do with talent when you're older?

What else can you think about?

 

Aboriginal Art:

Paint on found objects and surfaces such as slate, bark, scrap cardboard or pebbles. Have a look around your garden or at home and see if you have something smooth enough for you to paint on. Look at some examples below:

 

Computing:

A few months ago we learnt all about coding algorithms. If you can borrow a computer, tablet or phone, spend some time coding algorithms with the Angry Birds. Click on the link below.
