Reading:
Read your favourite book (from your book bag or one from home). Copy one long word or sentence in your Home learning journal.
Topic:
MUSIC
Today we will be making our own musical shaker.
You will need:-
- A plastic container, a lid or piece of cardboard
- Some sellotape
- Some rice or hard little things that make a noise when shaken e.g. dried peas, rice, tiny lego or plastic toys etc
- Some stickers or felt tips, paper etc to decorate the shaker
Please make sure after you put a lid or some cardboard on the top, that you put lots of sellotape securely around it, to keep the rice or hard little plastic things inside!
Now you can use your shakers to sing along to your favourite songs.
Parets if you don’t want to make this, then do please use the
BBC Bitesize daily lessons Y1- Music Body percussion session which shows you how to use your whole body as a musical instrument instead.
Have a great weekend everyone.
