What do you know about butterflies?

All week we have been learning about butterflies. 

Can you answer these questions ? Go through these with an adult and see if you can answer them.


  • Can you name the butterfly’s lifecycle? It is made up of four parts.

  • What do caterpillars eat?

  • When a caterpillars is fully grown they attach themselves to a twig or leaf. What happens next?

  • What do butterflies attach their eggs to?

  • How many wings does a butterflies have ?

  • What do butterflies feed on from flowers?
