What happened at the beginning of the story?

Write a sentence in your book to tell me.

Today I would like you to make 10 more words  and write them in your book.

Please choose  one sound from each of these:

  1. p s t b f m
  2. a e i o u
  3. ff ss ll zz

e.g. p i ll- remember to say the sounds as you write the word.

This afternoon is an EXPLORER afternoon.

I would like you to try to make a pair of binoculars  ready for your 'pretend' explore!

Maybe you could use an old kitchen roll or toilet roll tube, or roll up an old piece of card or paper  from your recycling box.  You could use glue or sticky tape to make it.

If you have paint, then paint it. Otherwise use crayons to colour it.

Next week we will be exploring around school if you're in, or around your  home or garden. So you will need to collect these things:-

  1. a bag  ( can be just  a plastic bag)
  2.  paper or a notepad
  3. pen or pencil
  4. a hat
  5. a container with a  lid for collecting interesting  things you may find on your exploration!

If you are in school on Monday , then bring these all with you. If you are  home, then have them all ready to use for Monday.

Have a calm restful weekend. smiley
