Our Commitment
We aim to provide high-quality remote learning whenever pupils cannot attend school in person. This ensures continuity of education and supports every child’s progress.
When Remote Education Applies
- Whole or partial school closures (e.g., severe weather or public health guidance)
- Individual pupils who are well but unable to attend school physically
What to Expect
- Daily learning time
- Key Stage 1: Around 3 hours per day
- Key Stage 2: Around 4 hours per day
- Learning activities include
- Live online lessons
- Recorded teaching sessions
- Independent tasks and resources
How to Access Remote Learning
- Platforms we use: Google Classroom, Seesaw
- Support available:
- Loaned devices and internet access where needed
- Paper-based resources for families without reliable connectivity
Support for Pupils with SEND
We adapt remote learning to meet individual needs and work closely with families to provide tailored resources and support.
Safeguarding & Online Safety
- All live sessions follow our Online Safety Policy
- Parents receive guidance to help keep children safe online
